Executive Committee

Meets Every 3^rd Tuesday of the Month | 2:00 p.m.

Chair: President

Members: Immediate Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Other Designees as Needed

Charge: The Executive Committee comprises the association’s leadership and steers overall and operational activities. In addition, the EC makes recommendations and submits proposals to the board of directors and membership.

Payer Relations Committee  

Meets Every 3^rd Thursday of the Month | 1:00 pm

Chair:  John Quinlan, Quinlan's Pharmacy & Medical Equipment, john@quinlansmedical.com

Charge: The Payer Relations Committee monitors, advocates, and educates members on the policies and regulations of all insurers as they pertain to enteral, medical supplies, rehabilitation and respiratory services, and patient care standards.

Legislative Committee

Meets the Last Monday of the Month | 12:30 pm

Chair:  John Gallagher, The VGM Group, john.gallagher@vgm.com

Charge: The Legislative Committee monitors and reports on proposed and existing legislation, policies, and regulations affecting the home medical equipment industry at the state and federal levels; as well as advocates member interests through effective communication with elected officials and the development of strategic partnerships.

Membership and Education Committee

Meets the Last Friday of the Month @ 11:00 am

Chair:  Patty Reni, McKesson Medical-Surgical, patty.reni@mckesson.com

Charge: The Membership and Education Committee devises and implements benefits, services, education programs, and recruitment and retention campaigns.

Incon/Suppliers Committee

Meets the 1^st Tuesday of the Month | 3:00 pm

Chair: Gelena Gotto, Rainbow Supply, gelenagotto@yahoo.com  

Bylaws Committee 

Meets As Needed

Chairs: President; Immediate Past President; Other Members as Designated

Charge: The Bylaws Committee ensures that the governing documents adequately represent the operational structure and that the association works in accordance with the governing documents. Makes recommendations for revisions.

Nominations Committee

Meets As Needed

Chairs: Immediate Past President, President, Other Members as Designated

Charge: The Nominations Committee evaluates current board, identifies board openings & renewals, solicits chair candidates, makes candidate & officer recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and greater membership for slate approval, and notifies nominees of their appointments.
